And there is a difference. We do not consider it our mission to travel down every highway that litigation presents. Because we are trial lawyers – because we actually try cases before juries and judges – we set our sights, from Day One, on finding that one exhibit that will rule the day, on developing the testimony that will actually make an impact on a jury.
Our opponents know this. They know that we are as reasonable as you are when it comes to trying to resolve a dispute early. But they also know what we’re capable of, and that if they’re not equally as reasonable, they’ll be watching our backside as we stand before the nodding heads of a jury.
